Mackenzie claimed in her 2009 memoir, \u201cHigh on Arrival,\u201d that her father raped her on the night she married Jeff Sessler. She was 19 at the time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
But Mackenzie would go on to battle<\/a> with a drug addiction<\/a> and the sex with John became consensual for nearly 10 years.<\/p>\n\n\n\n On Wednesday, the sisters were not interested in rehashing all the details of what happened between Mackenzie and their father, but Chynna once again took a moment to show Mackenzie support for speaking out about the unusual affair.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cWhen I stood by you, I meant it with all my heart,\u201d Chynna said before showing her 2009 appearance on \u201cGood Morning America\u201d where she spoke about the family\u2019s bombshell secret.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cI believed you and I want you to know that I was proud of you for coming out, even though it was painful for everybody.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n Mackenzie continued that she faces backlash online for having \u201cforgiveness in my heart\u201d toward her father, who died on March 18, 2001, of heart failure.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cForgiving is for me, not the other person. And forgiving doesn\u2019t mean that I co-sign or agree with what I\u2019m forgiving you for, or him for. It\u2019s very complicated. It\u2019s very, very complicated.
