The presidential candidate of the Labour Party, LP, Peter Obi, has hailed Nigerian football stars Victor Osimhen and Asisat Oshoala on their CAF\u2019s Men and Women Footballer of the Year Awards, respectively, in Morocco.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Recall that Osimhen emerged as CAF\u2019s Men Footballer of the Year, while Oshoala won her sixth award.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In a statement via his Twitter handle on Tuesday, Obi said he was proud of both the Napoli and Barcelona attackers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Obi stated, \u201cI like to join all other sports lovers in the country to sincerely congratulate the Nigeria duo of @victorosimhen9 and @AsisatOshoala for emerging African Players of the Year, in the Men and Women categories respectively this year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
