Ogun closes Olumo Rock for renovation April 14<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The Ogun State Government on Friday 11th April, disclosed that Olumo Rock Tourist Centre, Abeokuta, the state capital, will be closed temporarily from April 14 for renovation and facelift.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The state Commissioner for Culture and Tourism, Mr Sesan Fagbayi, in a statement in Abeokuta, said the renovation was to boost tourism and preserve cultural assets across the state.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Fagbayi noted that the development was part of a broader commitment \u2018to revamp one of the most iconic tourist destinations.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
He assured all that the renovation would improve visitors\u2019 experience and ensure safety measures.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
He apologised to tourists and the general public for the inconveniences the development may cause, adding that updates would be communicated as work progresses.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
