Offenders who dump refuse illegally, litter the streets, or deface our environment will face stiff penalties,\u201d Wahab stated.<br><br>He further revealed that over 3,000 offenders have already been arrested, with increased surveillance and public awareness campaigns underway to strengthen enforcement efforts.<br><br>Wahab emphasized that existing laws prohibiting cart pushing, public defecation, and illegal street trading remain in force. He called on residents to embrace cleanliness, especially as the Sallah celebration approaches.<br><br>\u201cThis is about saving our environment\u2014for us and for the generations to come. Let\u2019s celebrate the coming Sallah with cleanliness and responsibility,\u201d he said.<br><br>The commissioner urged residents to properly bag their waste and avoid dumping in drains or road medians, stressing the importance of handing over refuse to assigned PSP operators.<br><br>\u201cWe all have a duty to protect our Lagos.
