Despite a marginal increase of 0.8 points, the nine-time African champions remain at the top of the continent, holding firm at 36th in the world with 1623.29 points.<br><br>The rankings reflect matches played since the last update on March 6, 2025, including Nigeria&#8217;s recent win over Cameroon in the May-June international window. The Super Falcons&#8217; 2-0 victory over the Indomitable Lionesses, courtesy of Rasheedat Ajibade&#8217;s brace, reaffirmed Nigeria&#8217;s dominance on the continent. However, the win had no impact on their global standing.<br><br><strong>African Rankings<\/strong><br><br>&#8211; 1st &#8211; Nigeria: 36th globally with 1623.29 points<br>&#8211; 2nd &#8211; South Africa: 54th globally with 1488.49 points, despite a 1.57-point drop and an impressive four-match winning streak<br>&#8211; 3rd &#8211; Morocco: 60th globally with 1419.63 points, after dropping eight points<br>&#8211; 4th &#8211; Cameroon: 64th globally with 1396.2 points, climbing two places with a 7.3-point increase<br>&#8211; 5th &#8211; Zambia: 65th globally, slipping slightly after losing 4.67 points<br><br>Other notable African teams include Ghana (66th) and C\u00f4te d&#8217;Ivoire (72nd), which remained unchanged in terms of points. Mali (78th), Senegal (81st), and Algeria (82nd) all recorded no points change, each drawing all their fixtures in the match window.<br><br><strong>Global Rankings<\/strong><br><br>The United States remains at the top of the global rankings despite a recent defeat to Brazil. Spain and Germany are closing in, while Brazil&#8217;s resurgence has propelled them to fourth place. Egypt made the most significant leap in the global rankings, moving up seven places to 93rd.<br><br>The next FIFA Women&#8217;s World Ranking update is scheduled for August 7, 2025, 10 days after the 2024 Women&#8217;s Africa Cup of Nations.
