Some football enthusiasts in Aba, Abia State, have expressed confidence that the Super Eagles B team would beat Sudan and Congo to qualify for the knockout stage of the ongoing CAF Championship in Tanzania, Kenya and Uganda.
The News Agency of Nigeria reports that, Eagles B team lost their opening match of the championship to Senegal and would face Sudan and Congo in remaining matches of the group D.
Some football enthusiasts who spoke to NAN on Saturday, said the team did well against Senegal, not minding the defeat which came in the 75th minute of the game.
Obiora Okochi said he knew Senegal to be a strong team but never expected the Super Eagles would lose the first match of the championship.

\u201cThe fact that Eagles lost the match, does not mean they cannot reach the next stage of the championship but the team needs to win the two remaining matches.
\u201cSudan and Congo should not pose a threat to the Super Eagles but football been what it is, the teams may surprise Eagles, if they underate them,\u201dhe said.
Abigail Okon expressed confidence that Eagles would overcome the hurdle in the group and reach the knockout stage of the championship.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Emeka Atah said that the defeat against Senegal is a wake up call that would push the team all the way to the championship final.
Atah who said that the Eagles will win the match against Sudan and Congo with focus and determination, called on the technical crew to plan well for the match.
Jeremiah Nwankwo said the match against Senegal was a tough one, noting that Senegal proved they are the defending champions.
Nwankwo advised the team to approach the remaining matches with caution and avoid playing under tension.
