Her roommates at Elmada Hostel alleged that their attempts to retrieve her insulin medication were hindered when the hostel mistress allegedly demanded \u20a6120,000 for a spare room key, with each roommate expected to pay \u20a640,000.<br><br>According to the students, repeated pleas stressing the urgency of Ajana\u2019s medical needs were ignored, a delay they believe contributed to her health deterioration and eventual death.<br><br>In a statement issued on Friday, August 22, the university announced the three-month suspension of the medical personnel involved, pending the conclusion of investigations.<br><br>Regarding the hostel mistress, Unizik clarified that Elmada Hostel is privately managed, though under the institution\u2019s partnership, and demanded her immediate dismissal.
