Barbadian singer, Robyn Rihanna Fenty, has marked 20 years in the music industry with a message of appreciation to her fans, family and industry partners.
The 36-year-old singer shared the note on X on Saturday, reflecting on her journey since she left home two decades ago to begin her career.
\u201cTwenty years ago, I left my country, my culture, my food, and family to embark on a journey that started with the release of my very first body of music. So many of you were a part of my life and career since the very beginning, and some of you have joined the adventure along the way. I\u2019m forever grateful to all of you,\u201d she wrote.
Rihanna, who has sold more than 250 million records worldwide, described her family as her strongest support system. She also praised her fans and appreciated DJs, producers, designers, choreographers and others who contributed to her success.
\u201cI thank God, He\u2019s been very generous to me and the glory belongs to Him,\u201d she added.
