Under the updated guidelines, students are strictly prohibited from bringing SIM-enabled devices\u2014such as smartphones or other mobile-network gadgets\u2014to campus. Instead, they may use alternative electronics like laptops, tablets, iPads, iPods, or cameras, provided these devices do not support cellular communication. In addition to the phone ban, Covenant University also forbids all students from cooking in their residence halls.
