President Tinubu: \u201cA Builder of Men, Libra of Faith\u201d<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

President Bola Tinubu<\/strong> was swift to issue a tribute, lamenting the loss of \u201cone of God\u2019s generals.\u201d He affirmed that Ukpai was more than a preacher\u2014\u201ca builder of men and bridges linking faiths, people, tongues, and tribes.\u201d The President recalled the landmark crusades, extolled Ukpai\u2019s humanitarian works\u2014schools, hospitals, charity\u2014and prayed that God grant him eternal rest while comforting his family.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Governor Umo Eno: A Personal and Prophetic Connection<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Although not a native of Akwa Ibom, Ukpai\u2019s ministry had deep roots in the state. Governor Umo Eno led a condolence visit to the Ukpai family in Uyo, cutting short his own State Executive Council meeting. During the visit, the governor described Ukpai as \u201can icon and a rare gem.\u201d He recalled a prophetic word from the evangelist: that Eno would one day govern the state\u2014a prophecy Eno said he treasures. He also pledged that his government would collaborate with the family to give Ukpai a befitting burial.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Pastor Enoch Adeboye: Strength in Shared Sorrow<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

The General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), Pastor Enoch Adeboye, publicly acknowledged how Ukpai\u2019s steadfast faith gave him strength during one of his darkest hours. When Adeboye lost his son in 2021, he said, \u201cOne reference point that gave me strength was Uma Ukpai. I know he lost more than one child in a day, yet he did not waver.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  • CAN described him as a \u201ctowering figure in the Nigerian Church\u201d<\/strong> whose ministry \u201ctransformed countless lives and strengthened the body of Christ across generations.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • The statement highlighted his devotion to preaching, teaching, and charitable acts<\/strong>, emphasizing that his \u201cmessage of faith, healing, and hope inspired generations.<\/li>\n\n\n\n

    • PFN leaders also noted that Ukpai was originally scheduled to speak at PFN\u2019s upcoming 40\u2011year thanksgiving event, and that his absence would be deeply felt<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

      The world mourns a man who not only spoke of heaven but made it believable. In the words of Apostle Paul: \u201cHe fought the good fight, he finished the race, he kept the faith.\u201d<\/em> And now, in the silence of the crowds and the stillness of crusade grounds, heaven has thundered: \u201cWell done, faithful servant.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n
