TEHRAN, Iran \u2014 Iran\u2019s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei on Monday dismissed claims by U.S. President Donald Trump that American airstrikes in June had destroyed key Iranian nuclear facilities, calling the remarks \u201cimproper, wrong, and bullying.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In a statement published on his official website, Khamenei responded to Trump\u2019s recent comments made during a speech at the Israeli Knesset and a televised interview, in which the U.S. president described the strikes as \u201cthe most beautiful military operation\u201d and claimed they had \u201cobliterated\u201d Iran\u2019s nuclear capabilities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
