Tinubu emphasized that the project aligns with President Bola Tinubu\u2019s vision of building a knowledge-based economy where \u201cevery child, regardless of background or geography, has access to quality digital learning opportunities.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"\"><strong>The Presidency<\/strong> echoed this sentiment, stating that the initiative reflects the administration\u2019s broader commitment to inclusive growth and youth development. \u201cThis is a practical demonstration of our digital inclusion agenda,\u201d a spokesperson said. \u201cIt complements national reforms aimed at unlocking the potential of Nigeria\u2019s youth.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"\"><strong>The Nigerian Senate<\/strong> also welcomed the development. Senator Ibrahim Bomai, Chair of the Senate Committee on ICT and Cybersecurity, described the project as \u201ca timely intervention that will accelerate digital literacy and foster innovation in underserved communities.\u201d He called for sustained investment in similar initiatives nationwide.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"\"><strong>Public response<\/strong> has been largely positive. Community leaders and educators in states like Edo and Nasarawa praised the centres as \u201cgame-changers\u201d for local students. \u201cThis is the first time many of our children will have access to structured digital education,\u201d said Mrs. Edesili Okpebholo Anani, coordinator for the Office of the First Lady in Edo State.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"\">The centres are equipped with internet-enabled computers, learning software, and training modules designed to promote digital literacy, entrepreneurship, and creative problem-solving.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"\">The Renewed Hope Initiative\u2019s Digital Learning Project is part of a broader effort to prepare Nigeria\u2019s youth for the demands of a global digital economy.
