Dubois, 27, is looking to rebuild momentum after setbacks in previous title fights, including two losses to Usyk. Promoter Frank Warren confirmed discussions are underway for a possible matchup between Dubois and Itauma, 20, who has quickly gained attention for his explosive performances and undefeated record.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cMoses is a serious talent, but Daniel is still young and hungry,\u201d Warren said. \u201cThis fight could be the spark that reignites Daniel\u2019s career and puts him back in the world title picture.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The bout, tentatively targeted for late 2025, would pit Dubois (22\u20132, 21 KOs), a former IBF interim champion, against Itauma (11\u20130, 9 KOs), who holds the WBA International and WBO Inter-Continental titles. Itauma\u2019s recent first-round knockout of Demsey McKean on the undercard of Usyk vs. Fury II has further solidified his status as one of Britain\u2019s brightest prospects.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Itauma, who has yet to comment publicly on the proposed fight, has previously expressed interest in facing top-tier opponents as he climbs the ranks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Boxing analysts say the matchup would be a major domestic clash with global implications. A win for Dubois could position him for a trilogy bout with Usyk, while a victory for Itauma would catapult him into world title contention.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
