We are proud to support their academic journey,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"\">Recipients expressed gratitude for the financial relief and recognition. \u201cThis scholarship lifts a huge burden off my family,\u201d said Chinyere Okafor, a computer science student at the University of Nigeria, Nsukka. \u201cI can now focus fully on my studies.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"\">Ibrahim Musa, a visually impaired law student at Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria, said the award was a validation of his efforts. \u201cBeing recognized despite my challenges means the world to me. It motivates me to keep pushing.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"\">Education advocates welcomed the initiative but called for broader reforms. \u201cCorporate scholarships like MTN\u2019s are vital, but we must also strengthen public funding for higher education,\u201d said Dr. Funmi Adeoye, an education policy analyst based in Abuja.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"\">Since its inception, the MTN Scholarship Scheme has supported over 14,000 students across Nigeria.
