It uses electrical impulses to prompt the heart to beat at a normal rhythm when the heart beats too slowly, irregularly, or sometimes too fast.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">What Is Ventricular Fibrillation<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"\">Ventricular fibrillation (V\u2011Fib) is a life-threatening heart rhythm disorder in which the lower chambers of the heart (the ventricles) quiver instead of pumping effectively. Without rapid treatment, V\u2011Fib can lead to cardiac arrest.
