MAGAJI, Nigeria (FN)<\/strong> \u2014 Nigerian security forces have launched a sweeping rescue mission after gunmen abducted 25 female students from a secondary school in Kebbi State, officials said Monday.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Chief of Army Staff, Lt. Gen. Olufemi Waidi Shaibu, personally directed troops to conduct round\u2011the\u2011clock search\u2011and\u2011rescue operations in the region, underscoring the urgency of the mission. \u201cWe will not rest until every student is safely returned,\u201d Shaibu told reporters during an operational tour.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The attack occurred at Government Girls Comprehensive Secondary School in Maga, a community in Danko\u2011Wasagu Local Government Area.
