He described public service as \u201ca lifelong responsibility\u201d rather than a career.<br><br>The senator first entered politics in 1999, when he was elected to the House of Representatives for the Aniocha\/Oshimili Federal Constituency. During his tenure, he championed initiatives aimed at expanding access to education, strengthening infrastructure and creating economic opportunities.<br><br>Today, Nwoko is known for his advocacy on malaria eradication, youth empowerment and environmental sustainability. He has consistently argued that tackling these issues is central to Nigeria\u2019s future prosperity.<br><br>President Bola Tinubu congratulated Nwoko on his milestone, calling him \u201ca dedicated public servant whose contributions to national development continue to make meaningful impact.\u201d Tinubu praised his consistency in pursuing transformative policies.<br><br>Tributes also came from colleagues, constituents and civil society groups.
