ABUJA, Nigeria (FN) \u2014 Nigerian senator Ned Nwoko marked his 65th birthday on Sunday 21 December,2025. using the occasion to reaffirm his dedication to public service and national development.
Nwoko, who represents Delta North Senatorial District, said his life\u2019s work remains focused on improving the welfare of Nigerians through legislation, advocacy and community projects. He described public service as \u201ca lifelong responsibility\u201d rather than a career.
The senator first entered politics in 1999, when he was elected to the House of Representatives for the Aniocha\/Oshimili Federal Constituency. During his tenure, he championed initiatives aimed at expanding access to education, strengthening infrastructure and creating economic opportunities.
Today, Nwoko is known for his advocacy on malaria eradication, youth empowerment and environmental sustainability. He has consistently argued that tackling these issues is central to Nigeria\u2019s future prosperity.
