Leadership has collapsed, and citizens are paying the price with their lives.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He cited recent incidents, including the abduction and death of former lawmaker Abba Adamu along the Abuja\u2013Kaduna highway, as evidence of the government\u2019s inability to protect its citizens. \u201cIf a former legislator can be kidnapped and die in captivity, what hope remains for the ordinary Nigerian?\u201d Atiku asked.
