The governor stressed that politics is temporary, but the bond of brotherhood among citizens must remain intact. He reaffirmed his pledge to serve all Akwa Ibom residents, noting that the state\u2019s unifying slogan, \u201cAkwa Ibom United,\u201d reflects a collective commitment to peace and solidarity. \u201cI came as a peacemaker and will leave as a peacemaker,\u201d he said, pledging to continue leading with faith and integrity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Eno used the occasion to highlight achievements in education, aviation, health, and infrastructure, crediting the progress to the prayers and support of the people. He described Akwa Ibom\u2019s transformation from a \u201crusty backwater\u201d into a growing destination of choice, portraying the state as a \u201cshining city on the hill\u201d poised to fulfill the vision of its founding leaders.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
His appeal adds to repeated calls by stakeholders for peaceful, issue-based campaigns as Nigeria prepares for another pivotal election cycle.
