The group said Imagwe\u2019s comments should not be treated as Jonathan\u2019s official position.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cOnly statements issued directly by him, through officially designated representatives, or via recognized communication channels should be regarded as definitive expressions of his political position,\u201d said Sam Presto, coordinator of the movement. On X, user @NaijaObserver wrote: <em>\u201cJonathan\u2019s silence is louder than Imagwe\u2019s words. Nigerians deserve clarity, not speculation.\u201d<\/em> Another user, @AdaVoice, added: <em>\u201cIf Jonathan wants to run, he should say so himself. No more political ventriloquism.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Policy makers also weighed in. Senator Ali Ndume told reporters: <em>\u201cJonathan is respected across party lines.
