In reprisal, youths from the community mobilized and set fire to Dosho, a Fulani settlement, destroying dozens of huts and household goods.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cThe incident led to the death of seven persons, while six people sustained various degrees of injuries and are currently receiving medical attention,\u201d Habib said. \u201cExtensive damage was also recorded on residential structures and personal belongings.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He added that tactical operatives were deployed immediately to restore order, while the Violent Crime Response Unit was sent as reinforcement. Farmers and herders need dialogue, not bloodshed.\u201d<\/em> Another user, @NaijaPeace, added: <em>\u201cFifty huts burned, seven lives lost. Communities are being destroyed while government promises investigations.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Civil society voices echoed the urgency. Human rights lawyer Femi Falana said: <em>\u201cThe farmer-herder crisis is a national emergency. The government must prioritize mediation, justice, and security to prevent further carnage.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Local stakeholders expressed grief and frustration.
