The statement came after the military confirmed the deaths of four Israeli soldiers in Lebanon, underscoring the escalating confrontation with the Iran\u2011backed militant group. \u201cIsrael will not tolerate attacks on our soldiers or our territory,\u201d Netanyahu said. \u201cIsrael will remain in the security zone in southern Lebanon for as long as necessary for the protection of the communities of the north.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
