The lawmaker representing Kosofe Constituency II in the Lagos State House of Assembly, Tunde Buraimoh, is dead.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Our reporters gathered that the lawmaker died around 4 am on Friday.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
<\/ins><\/p>\n\n\n\n He died at the age of 60.<\/p>\n\n\n\n It was learnt that Buraimoh, who was the Assembly\u2019s spokesperson, had been absent from the Assembly\u2019s Complex for two weeks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Close sources to the lawmaker said he died of an undisclosed illness.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The lawmaker representing Kosofe Constituency 1 in the Lagos Assembly, Sanni Okanlawon, confirmed Buraimoh\u2019s death.<\/p>\n\n\n\n When contacted, the Chairman of the All Progressives Congress, Lagos State, Tunde Balogun, said, \u201cI heard about his death.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n He, however, could not give details about the lawmaker\u2019s death.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The lawmaker representing Ojo Constituency I, Victor Akande, also confirmed his demise.<\/p>\n\n\n\n He said, \u201cIt is true that we lost Tunde Braimoh, I could not sleep since 1 am when I learnt about his demise, he is one of those who never toyed with his health.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n <\/ins><\/p>\n\n\n\n Also, the Chief Press Secretary to the Kosofe Local Government Chairman, Taiwo Fadipe, said Buraimoh died after a brief illness.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Fadipe said, \u201cHe died at a hospital around Ikorodu road. He died overnight.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n The late lawmaker was the Chairman of Kosofe Local Government between 1999 and 2002. He was also the Bamofin of Ketuland.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Born September 30, 1960, Buraimoh attended Ogun State University, Ago-Iwoye where he studied law and graduated in 1988.<\/p>\n\n\n\n He was reelected for a second term as a lawmaker on Saturday, March 9.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" The lawmaker representing Kosofe Constituency II in the Lagos State House of Assembly, Tunde Buraimoh, is dead.
