Tinubu Hosts Dignitaries in Lagos for Eid-el-Kabir, Urges Prayers for National Unity

President Bola Tinubu, currently in Lagos for the Eid-el-Kabir celebrations, welcomed several prominent figures to his residence on Saturday. Among the visitors were former Delta State Governor James Ibori, Minister of Budget and Economic Planning Abubakar Bagudu, and billionaire industrialist Razak Okoya, accompanied by his wife, Shade Okoya, and their son.

Since arriving in Lagos on May 27, the president has actively engaged in key events, including the 50th anniversary celebration of the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS) and the inauguration of several development projects.

In his Eid message to the nation, President Tinubu called on Nigerians to offer prayers for continued peace and stability. He emphasized the importance of unity and collective purpose in achieving national progress.

The president acknowledged the sacrifices citizens have made over the past year, reaffirming his administration’s commitment to placing the country on a path of sustainable growth and development. He assured Nigerians that their physical, social, and economic security remains a top priority and pledged continued efforts in achieving these goals.

President Tinubu is expected to return to the Federal Capital Territory after the Eid-el-Kabir festivities.
