Lagos Council Unveils Health Centre Named After Remi Tinubu

The First Lady of Nigeria, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, has been honored with a health centre named after her in Lagos State. The Remi Tinubu Health Centre was unveiled by the Chairman of the Alimosho Local Government Area, Mrs. Jelani Olalekan, in a ceremony held in Ikotun, Alimosho.

The health centre, which was commissioned on Wednesday, is a testament to the enduring legacy of Senator Tinubu’s philanthropic work and her commitment to improving the lives of Nigerians. According to the council chairman, the health centre will provide comprehensive healthcare services to the residents of Alimosho and its environs.

Senator Tinubu, who was represented at the ceremony by her Special Assistant, Mrs. Oyin Handley, expressed gratitude to the Alimosho Local Government Council for the honour. She noted that she was humbled by the gesture and prayed that the health centre would bring succour and healing to the people.

The unveiling of the Remi Tinubu Health Centre is a significant development in the efforts to improve healthcare delivery in Lagos State.
