Young Hoon Kim, who is recognized as the person with the highest IQ in the world, has publicly responded to the death of American conservative activist Charlie Kirk, stating his intention to carry on the causes Kirk championed.

In a post shared on X, Kim described Kirk as both a loyal friend and a devout Christian, recalling how Kirk once invited him onto a broadcast and showed him respect and kindness.  He expressed sorrow over Kirk’s passing and offered a prayer that he may rest in the Lord.

Kim’s message included a commitment to continue the work that Kirk began. He wrote: “Your mission will live through me, and I will not turn back. For it is written: ‘The Lord is on my side; I will not fear. What can man do to me?’ (Psalm 118:6).”  In making this promise, he positioned himself as someone who would preserve Kirk’s ideals and remain steadfast in their shared values.

Charlie Kirk was shot and killed while speaking at a university campus event in Utah, where he had been addressing issues around gun violence.  His death has sparked wide reactions across the U.S. and among global figures.

Kim’s tribute to Kirk has drawn responses from social media users who encouraged him to fulfil this promise. One user urged him to “honor his memory by creating more Charlies,” saying that more voices like Kirk’s were needed to carry forward messages of Christianity, truth, and political engagement.

The exchange underscores how Kirk’s influence stretched beyond political activism into personal relationships and ideological mentorship. Young Hoon Kim’s vow to preserve his legacy reflects a broader moment of mourning and a determination among some of Kirk’s supporters to ensure his public voice continues.
