Thousands of mourners on Saturday thronged Kano to attend the funeral prayer of a prominent district head who passed away after a brief illness. The solemn event, held at a central mosque in the city, drew traditional rulers, government officials, religious leaders, and residents from different walks of life, underscoring the influence and respect the deceased commanded during his lifetime.
The late district head, whose name had become synonymous with service and leadership in his community, was described as a man of integrity, humility, and commitment to the welfare of his people.
