LOS ANGELES (FN) — Tennis legend Venus Williams and her fiancé, Italian actor and model Andrea Preti, made a striking appearance Tuesday night at Swarovski’s Masters of Light Opening Celebration, held at the brand’s new exhibition space in Hollywood.
The event marked the U.S. debut of Swarovski’s traveling exhibition, which celebrates 130 years of crystal craftsmanship and its influence on fashion, film, and design. Williams, known for her bold style both on and off the court, wore a sleek black-and-white ensemble that drew praise from attendees and fashion commentators.
“It’s a beautiful celebration of creativity and legacy,” Williams said during the event. “Swarovski has always represented elegance and innovation, and I’m honored to be part of this moment.”
Preti, dressed in a tailored black suit, accompanied Williams on the red carpet, where the couple posed for photographers and greeted fans. The pair’s appearance added to the star-studded guest list, which included Cher, Elizabeth Olsen, and Naomi Watts.
The Masters of Light exhibition, which has previously toured cities including Shanghai, Seoul, and Milan, will remain open in Los Angeles through Nov. 3. Swarovski’s creative director Giovanna Engelbert said the Hollywood location was chosen to reflect the brand’s deep ties to cinematic glamour.
“This is a tribute to the magic of light and the power of storytelling through design,” Engelbert said. “Having Venus and Andrea here tonight is a testament to the timeless appeal of Swarovski.”
The exhibition features iconic pieces worn by celebrities, including costumes from major films and red carpet events, as well as interactive installations showcasing the brand’s history and innovation.
