Damilola James, the deputy governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Lagos State, has offered an expansive message of gratitude and reflection following her nomination. James expressed appreciation to President Bola Tinubu and First Lady Oluremi Tinubu, praising their leadership for strengthening democratic values and stabilizing Nigeria’s economy. She also thanked Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu, his wife Dr Ibijoke Sanwo-Olu, APC governorship candidate Dr Kadri Obafemi Hamzat and his wife Oluremi Hamzat, alongside party elders and members across the state. She commended the Governance Advisory Council led by Prince Tajudeen Olusi for its guidance, while acknowledging the encouragement of traditional rulers, community leaders, grassroots mobilisers, women leaders, and youth groups.
