Gombe Gov Mourns Death of Promising Diplomat, Zipporah Kela

    Gombe State Governor, Muhammadu Yahaya, has extended his condolences to the family of the late Zipporah Kela, daughter of Professor S. L. Kela, the Deputy Vice Chancellor of the Federal University of Kashere. Zipporah, a rising star in Nigeria’s foreign service, passed away in her prime, leaving behind a legacy of dedication and professionalism. Until her death, she served in the Federal Ministry of Foreign Affairs and was on special assignment at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.

    The late diplomat had a distinguished career, serving in Nigerian embassies in Banjul, The Gambia, and Buenos Aires, Argentina. Her professionalism and dedication to Nigeria’s diplomatic mission abroad earned her recognition and respect. As a proud ambassador of Gombe State, Zipporah’s passing is a significant loss to the state and the nation.

    Governor Yahaya described the loss as deeply painful and a tragic blow to the state and the nation.
