ABUJA, Nigeria (AP), The Executive Vice Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of the Federal Competition and Consumer Protection Commission (FCCPC), Mr. Tunji Bello, has commended the Federal High Court in Abuja for dismissing a suit filed by Air Peace Limited challenging the Commission’s authority to investigate consumer complaints and issue summons in the course of its statutory duties.
Bello described the ruling as a significant affirmation of the FCCPC’s mandate to protect consumer rights and ensure fair competition in Nigeria’s marketplace.
