LAGOS, Nigeria (FN), Business mogul Emeka Okonkwo, popularly known as E-Money, has presented a ₦50 million cheque to comedian-turned-musician Carter Efe following his victory over singer Portable in a celebrity boxing match that has dominated Nigeria’s entertainment headlines.
The bout, staged on May 1 at Balmoral Hall, Federal Palace Hotel in Victoria Island, Lagos, was part of the Chaos in the Ring 4 series. Portable, who had previously defeated Charles Okocha and Speed Darlington to claim two belts, entered the fight as the favorite. Carter Efe, making his boxing debut, promised to shock fans with his composure and technique.
