Temi Nkem has won Big Brother Naija Season 11, securing 25.87 per cent of the final viewer vote to finish ahead of Aikou and Sheba. Host Ebuka Obi-Uchendu announced her victory during the live finale on Sunday, 4 October, concluding the “Show Ya Sef” edition.
Aikou finished as first runner-up with 23.68 per cent, placing him 2.19 percentage points behind Temi, while Sheba took third place with 9.80 per cent. The result gave Temi the largest share of the final vote, although she did not receive an outright majority.
The winner’s award includes N90 million in cash and a new SUV, alongside sponsored prizes. The season launched with an advertised package worth N160 million, but its original N100 million cash component was reduced by N10 million during the competition. The advertised package value should therefore be distinguished from the final cash payment.

Temi, whose name is Temitope Nkemdilim Chigbue, is a 21 year old finance student and lifestyle creator. Born and raised in London, she has family roots in Ibusa, Delta State, through her father, and Ebute Metta, Lagos, through her mother. Her win places a substantial financial award alongside the studies and online work she pursued before entering the house.
She introduced herself to viewers with the declaration, “I bring luxury, I bring spice.” During a later diary session, she discussed deliberately adopting a strategy and acknowledged that some aspects of her presentation were performed. Her account offers insight into how she approached a competition in which behaviour, relationships and audience perception influence survival.

The season began on 26 July with 24 housemates competing through tasks, nominations, Head of House contests and changing powers within the house. For contestants, the competition required repeated adjustments: winning a challenge could provide protection, while nominations left their continued participation dependent on viewers.
Nine housemates remained at the start of the finale. Barry exited first, followed by Oyin, Ricky, Flora, Tram and Bluethopia, leaving Temi, Aikou and Sheba to contest the title. Performances by Teni and Oshamo accompanied the eliminations, and the final three went to the stage together before the winner was announced.
Atinuke Babatunde, MultiChoice Nigeria’s Executive Head of Content and Channels for West Africa, thanked viewers, voters, sponsors and partners at the season’s conclusion. She said the contestants had brought different personalities and approaches to the game. Her comments reflect the broadcaster’s assessment; the voting figures provide the clearest available measure of support among participating viewers.

Temi becomes the fifth female winner of Big Brother Naija, adding to the growing number of women who have claimed the title. For supporters who followed her through nominations and voted in the finale, the result confirms that their participation helped determine the outcome. It does not establish that all viewers preferred her or agreed with her conduct in the house.
The victory gives Temi money, a vehicle and greater public visibility, but her plans after the show remain to be established through subsequent announcements. The immediate outcome is clear: after ten weeks of competition, she leaves as Season 11 champion, with Aikou and Sheba completing the top three.
